CUSTOM PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDERS
Manufacturing originally established in 1954 by the partnership of John Lednar and his father Henry, operating from a property purchased in High Street, Preston, supplying components to the footwear industry.
In 1965, the current property of 20,000 square feet at 1-3 Blanch Street, Preston was purchased and a plastics business developed. Charles Levi commenced as sales manager.
The first plastic injection-moulding machine was purchased in April 1968.
By 1973, the business was rapidly expanding, with 4 injection moulding machines. Along with many various plastics production machinery and tooling equipment had been purchased.
In 1985 John’s son Andrew started in the business as production manager. Andrew had completed an apprenticeship in fitting & turning and toolmaking and further studies and diplomas in plastics, production, trouble-shooting and die-setting.
The business has developed to now having 16 injection moulding machines and vast ancillary equipment, along with a highly trained and dedicated staff. We pride ourselves on quality, service and exceeding our customer’s requirements.
